What do you find the best method is to catch tench in a lake or fishing pond that you know are there?
I am having trouble catching specimens but none catching little ones that don’t relise there hooked until ther near enough in the net that were nosing around a bait intended for carp, should i float fish with a sensitive float or a feeder full of maggots
IN THE SUMMER
sweet and sickly ground bait like honey or molasses with sweetcorn worms and a big lump of bread are all good baits for tench. late evening or early morning is best hope this helps
